Do you have enthusiasm for life? Do you wake each day, eager and filled with energy? Emerson once said, “Every great and commanding movement in the annals of the world is due to the triumph of enthusiasm. Nothing great was ever achieved without it.” Enthusiasm means “filled with God.” Today, fill yourself with the light and energy of the Divine. As you follow the seven steps, remind yourself to live in the moment because this glorious day will never come again. I was reminded of enthusiasm yesterday by Nature. The frogs who live in what’s left of our pond are croaking gloriously in the evenings. They remind me of the beauty of the season. Yesterday at work the marmots awoke. They stretched their bodies in the bright sun and laid on the pavement to soak up the warmth. These creatures were happy with what they have and reminded me of an important lesson. If one is happy with what they have, instead of wanting what they don’t, he/she will be like the frogs and the marmots–thrilled to be alive. Warm and loving thoughts to you on this early April morning.
