I’m going to ask you to step outside the current mode of thinking and embrace your aging. What? But society only holds youth in high esteem! I don’t want anyone to know my real age. I look so much younger than I really am! I hear these comments often, and I want you to turn your thinking around and acknowledge the privilege of aging. How many people do you know that didn’t get this opportunity, that death took too quickly? As Robert Browning said, “Grow old along with me! The best is yet to be, The last of life, for which the first was made: Our times are in His hand. Who saith, A whole I planned, Youth shows but half; trust God: see all, nor be afraid.” Your body is the temple for your spirit. Take loving care of your body for old age has its own special beauty. How many people have you known that were beautiful in the evenings of their lives? If you haven’t known anyone, make it your mission to become that person for others to follow. Follow the first step of The Way and live your life to the fullest by being in good health.
